Dick Selwood

Dick Selwood is a PR consultant and freelance writer with nearly 30 years experience in high technology industries. His experience includes world-wide and European marketing communication including PR, trade show management, direct mail, advertising and significant technical feature and other writing. He also implements web sites.

Before becoming independent Dick was in charge of European corporate communications for Gould, a Fortune 200 company, and in charge of corporate communications for Inmos Ltd, the UK government funded semi-conductor company.

He has been an Associate Director of a leading (PR Week top 100) European high-tech PR consultancy. While there he conceived and managed a project for the pan-European launch of a silicon-chip tester which won a Public Relations Consultancy Association award for outstanding consultancy practice.

He entered PR while at CAP Ltd, now part of the SEMA group, a computer consultancy.

Other consultancy work has included PC, network and internet consultancy for PR companies, production companies, and a local charity, and the development of web-sites for several clients including three international trade associations.
